We send releases by a variety of methods, but mostly by e-mail, mail and - if pressing news - by fax as well. Depending on the nature of the release, we may also conduct a program of follow up calls, again taking a journalistic vs. marketing approach.

Our e-mail lists are top notch and our technology unmatched among New England PR firms. For example, for breaking news, we can write a news release in the morning, get it approved by the client by noon, and distribute it to the local and national media by the afternoon. After all, we're former reporters, accustomed to working on deadline.

At Wolfe PR, we have a department dedicated to news release distribution, not an intern. That means we keep abreast of new reporters, beat changes, new publications, and other important information that affects the outcome of our work. We also employ clipping services to monitor coverage, as well as video taping services so we capture television news coverage.
